Alfa Romeo has confirmed that the electric versions of the Stelvio and Giulia models will be available starting from 2025. The new generation of the Stelvio SUV will be launched in 2025, and the new Giulia sedan will be launched in 2026.

The announcement also includes confirmation that both new cars will utilize the STLA Large architecture from Stellantis, confirming that Alfa Romeo will be the first European brand to use the platform.

Moreover, the announcement states that the Stelvio will be the first car from the Stellantis megagroup to use the new STLA Brain onboard computing system, along with the STLA SmartCockpit software.

In 2022, CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato had already confirmed the return of the Giulia. “We need to design the Giulia we love, an Alfa Romeo that everyone wants, and [design director] Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos is on it. And we will come back to you with something very cool.”

On that occasion, Imparato promised to deliver a vehicle with no compromises, featuring an 800-volt architecture for fast charging and a 700 km range in the high-performance Quadrifoglio version.

To reduce charging downtime, Alfa Romeo is ready to first opt for an aerodynamic sedan body type instead of an SUV. The production of both will take place at the Stellantis factory in Cassino, Italy.
